Berkshire Pontoon

Berkshire Pontoon Quality Construction

On the water you expect quality and reliability in your boat and your equipment. As builders of the most luxurious pontoons we feel a duty to construct a product that is built to last and built right. We start with our air pressurized and chambered tube construction that strengthens the inner walls of our pontoons. The Berkshire chassis is constructed using extruded C-channel and box channel cross members spaced every 16 inches, providing a more stable and rigid platform. At Berkshire we also weld a full length structural riser to the tubes and floor supports. The 7 ply 3/4" pressure preserved marine plywood deck panels are attached to the crossmembers, floor supports and risers using stainless steel fasteners. This design creates superior strength.

Our engineering team is committed to developing and producing innovative, quality pontoon boats, which continue to be leaders in design and construction.

Our Berkshire Pontoon engineering team produces quality pontoon boats. Our R&D department focuses on integration of materials, processes & technology. We have achieved Excellence in Customer Satisfaction for consecutive years. Bay-to-bay assembly stations allow unit to flow smoothly through the building process. Complete process control including full-aluminum cutting and processing. The foundation of our produts, tube fabrication, is done completely in house.
Heli-Arc experienced fabricators are key to a superior pontoon. Rail welded assembly is consistent due to the extensive use of fixtures and jigs. Exterior rails with inserted painted panels create a durable and well finished exterior. In-house sewing maximizes efficiencies and enhances our canvas options. The 2"x3" welded stern frame support withstands engine weight and torque requirements. The 2"x3" welded frame creates integrated support of our large in-floor storage compartment.
16" cross members with stainless steel hardware. Water tight cover to our proven Trifecta Transom Assembly improves aesthetics and enhances bouyancy. Stern underdeck aluminum skin in key to a quiet, smooth ride. Final inspection of railing assembly during the installation of required safety labels. All sub-assembly areas are tested during assembly prior to installation into the final product. A key component of our quality assurance program includes full electrical testing for every unit.
